Last updated: June 28, 2026

Hiipal respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on Hiipal infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request using the process below.

1. Our Policy

Hiipal is a user-generated content platform. Users — not Hiipal — are responsible for the content they upload and index. Our Terms of Service prohibit uploading content without the rights to do so. We process valid DMCA notices promptly and will remove infringing content upon verification.

2. How to Submit a Takedown Request

Send a written notice to our designated agent at krishnakanthati8@gmail.com with the following information:

  1. Your contact information — full name, address, email, and phone number.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work — describe the original work you own or represent.
  3. Identification of the infringing content — provide the URL(s) on Hiipal where the infringing content appears.
  4. A statement of good faith — "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  5. A statement of accuracy — "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner."
  6. Your electronic or physical signature.

Incomplete notices may not be processed.

3. What Happens Next

  1. We review your notice within 5 business days.
  2. If valid, the content is removed and the uploader is notified.
  3. The uploader may submit a counter-notification if they believe the content was removed in error.
  4. If a counter-notification is filed, we will notify you and may restore the content after 10–14 business days unless you obtain a court order.

4. Repeat Infringers

Hiipal has a repeat-infringer policy. Users who receive multiple valid DMCA notices will have their accounts permanently suspended.

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, send a counter-notification to krishnakanthati8@gmail.com including:

  1. Your contact information.
  2. Identification of the removed content and its location before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your area.
  5. Your electronic or physical signature.

6. False Claims

Submitting a false DMCA claim is a violation of 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) and may expose you to liability for damages, including legal fees. Only submit a takedown request if you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
