By accessing or using Hiipal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Hiipal provides AI-powered multimodal search and real-time peer connection features, allowing users to search text, images, and documents, send greetings (hii) and direct messages to nearby pals, and connect via voice or video call with others on similar topics.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or obscene.
  • Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm other users.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise exploit the Service's AI systems.
  • Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Service.
  • Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

4. Content You Submit

By submitting content (images, documents, text) to Hiipal, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., generating embeddings for search). You retain ownership of your content.

5. Intellectual Property

All code, design, branding, and AI models used by Hiipal are the property of Hiipal and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated search results. We are not responsible for the content of peer-to-peer communications between users.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hiipal shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
