Community Guidelines

Hiipal is a social search platform built on curiosity, discovery, and real human connection. These guidelines exist to keep the community safe, respectful, and useful for everyone.

1. Be Respectful

Treat every person on the platform as you would in real life. Harassment, threats, bullying, or hate speech directed at individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin is strictly prohibited.

2. No Harmful Content

You may not upload, index, or share content that:

  • Contains graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies self-harm
  • Sexualises minors in any way (zero tolerance — reported immediately to authorities)
  • Promotes terrorism, extremism, or real-world violence
  • Contains malware, phishing links, or deceptive material

3. Respect Intellectual Property

Only upload or index content you own or have explicit rights to share. Uploading copyrighted images, documents, or articles without permission is a violation of these guidelines and our Terms of Service. We respond to valid DMCA takedown requests — see our DMCA Policy.

4. No Spam or Manipulation

Do not use Hiipal to distribute spam, artificially inflate search results, or manipulate AI-generated embeddings. Automated scraping or bulk indexing of third-party content without permission is not allowed.

5. Privacy of Others

Do not share private information about other people without their consent — including personal addresses, phone numbers, private photos, or financial details (doxxing). Content that violates another person's reasonable expectation of privacy will be removed.

6. Accurate Information

Do not deliberately spread false information that could mislead others or cause harm. This includes fabricated news, health misinformation, and impersonation of real people or organisations.

7. Report What You See

Use the three-dot menu (⋯) on any image, document, or article to report content that violates these guidelines. Every report is reviewed. You can also email us directly at krishnakanthati8@gmail.com.

8. Enforcement

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent banning from the platform depending on severity. Illegal content is reported to the appropriate authorities.
