How to Report Content

Every image, document, and article on Hiipal has a three-dot menu (⋯). Tap or hover it to reveal Report Abuse. Reports are anonymous and reviewed promptly.

What Happens After You Report

  1. Your report is logged and tied to the specific content item.
  2. Content that reaches a report threshold is automatically hidden pending review.
  3. Our moderation team reviews flagged content and takes action — removal, account suspension, or escalation to authorities for illegal material.
  4. Repeat violators are permanently banned.

AI-Assisted Moderation

Hiipal uses Amazon Bedrock AI to generate captions and embeddings for every indexed image. This process also helps identify clearly inappropriate content before it becomes publicly discoverable.

How "Nearby Pals" Works

The "Find nearby pals" feature connects you with other users searching similar topics — it is not based on your physical location. We do not collect GPS coordinates. Proximity is determined by semantic similarity of search topics, not geography. No location data is stored or shared.

User-Generated Content

Hiipal allows users to index images, documents, and articles. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to content they upload. We respond to valid DMCA takedown requests — see our DMCA Policy for the full process.

Child Safety

Any content that sexualises or exploits minors is strictly prohibited and immediately reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement. Zero tolerance.
